When it comes to celebrating centuries it seems as though the celebrations of one of the best known makers of British sports cars has been very low key.
Morgan cars’ centenary this year is very much a story of “local boy done good”. Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan (1881-1959) founded the Morgan Car Company and was chairman from 1937 until his death in 1959. The company has always been based in the Malvern area of Worcestershire where H.F.S. as he was known was born.
