Peugeot have become the first UK carmaker to produce a full hybrid vehicle with an electric/diesel engine power combination.
The new 3008 models are scheduled to be built in France with sales commencing in the UK in the Spring of 2011.

For a small electric vehicle it has very good credentials, amongst them are:- it's electric, therefore no gas emissions, measures less than 2.5metres, weighs less than 600kg which allows it to accelerate to 19mph in 2.8 seconds and from 19mph to 37mph in 4 seconds and has a range of circa 75 miles.
