All the banns have been heard and the marriage due to take place in March at the start of the next G.P. season.
But the question is? Will they be equal partners in a marriage where both will want to dominate?
Ex-world champion Jackie Stewart thinks Jenson will be walking into the lions den, (some marriages are said to be similar) while fellow ex-world champion John Watson thinks Jenson was gently pushed into accepting the McLaren proposal because Brawn’s offer for him next season was not up to par for a world champion.
Jackie Stewart is quoted as saying the McLaren garage is geared to having Hamilton as the main driver who already knows the technicians and mechanics well; Button even though world champion will have to leave his home for the last couple of years and settle down with new in-laws.
Is this a marriage made in heaven or hell?
