The award was confirmed by a unanimous vote by a panel from CAP, the used car pricing experts with 30 years experience in the motor industry.
To qualify for this award a car “must have existed as a 3year old car throughout the decade”
The Ford Focus, first launched in 1998, has consistently been a high volume seller for Ford with a range of models to suit the most demanding of tastes.
Other CAP winners were: another Ford success with the Ka voted The Small Used Car of The Decade, the Large Used Car award went to the VW Passat, the Audi A3 took the award for Executive Used Car while BMW’s X5 took the Luxury Car award, finally the Most Improved Brand award went to Seat.
