The Renault-Nissan alliance are leading the way with new innovative electric car charging. They are now introducing electric car charging facilities via an affiliate organization into a major chain of hotels in Japan.
These two large car companies between them are opening up an entirely new avenue within the electric car market, this niche they are hoping to develope  could provide a huge leap forward for the industry and also allow them to place their own vehicles for hire on each site.
Their present deal with the hotel chains in Japan involves 18,000 hotels, if charging facilities were made available in other hotel chains it could satisfy a huge demand that is uncatered for worldwide at the moment.
