On his return to the GP scene Michael, with half the season gone, has not acheived the success expected of him, should he now finally recognize it will not happen for him again?
Home Should Schumaker call it a day as a Mercedes GP driver?
Yesterday July 22nd.,Michael stated he would continue with his contract with Mercedes and drive on next year when he is confident he will win the title; who the heck does he think he is kidding?
Home Should Schumaker call it a day as a Mercedes GP driver?
Carrying on from above its reported now that even the German public are not being taken in by him as ticket sales are reported to be flat and thousands available, and thats out of a capacity of only 75,000 at Hockenheim.
Home Should Schumaker call it a day as a Mercedes GP driver
Bookies are not sentimental people when it comes to playing for money; for this weekends GP on Germann soil they have Vettel at 15/8, Webber at 5/2, Hamilton 7/2 Button 17/2, with Schumacker nearly off the board at 50/1.
With odds like that Mercedes should think of the future and consider giving another up and coming driver their other car for the rest of the season and write off their investment in Schumacker.
He's on home soil tomorrow, the first time for 4 years, if he can't get a podium then Vettel will definitely replace him in the eyes of the German public.
Home Should Schumaker call it a day as a Mercedes GP driver
With the row between Vettel and Webber still ongoing those odds quoted won't matter, they could once again shunt each other off the track and let someone else through, could it be the Schu?
Should Schumaker call it a day as a Mercedes GP driver?
Before he retired Schumacker often drove recklessly and was very lucky not to be penalised by the racing authorities.
Since his return this year there have been signs of that recklessness on the track again, with him struggling to keep up with the top drivers now,one wrong move by him could cost one of the top drivers the championship; Michael should know his era is past and should get off the track now.
Following todays incident on lap 67 at the Hungarian GP where Schumacher tried to repeat his old dangerous tactic of moving over to prevent another driver(Barichello)from passing, he must now have lost all the credibility he had with other drivers and fans worldwide.
Todays move was outright dangerous, could well have resulted in serious injury to both and was on the fast home straight where he tried it.
Some TV commentators have mentioned likely punishments as downgraded on the grid for the next race or a fine; this is ot taking the matter seriously, he should be banned from at least one race.Schumacher should not be allowed to get away with this, it only sends the wrong message to other "risky" drivers.
I don't beleive it, he's got away with it again.
10 places down on the grid doesn't matter to him, he's past it but he's a danger to any other driver trying to overtake him.
Ban him now.
So Schumacher has finally said sorry to Barichello, could it be something to do with the fact that F1 drivers have to renew their licences annually and there was some doubt about his renewal?

With 10 minutes to go before the start Michael is quoted at 150/1 by bookmakers William Hill

For starters (pun?)Schumacker has been unable to beat his team mate, Nico Rosberg, let alone anyone else.
I think little Rosy Rosburg is cute, shame on michael for beating him,
