Unlike aircraft arrivals in these “ash cloud” days which can arrive anywhere at anytime (if arrive they do) the new VW Golf has arrived a full 2 years ahead of schedule.
With its new square body shape this seventh generation variant of this ever popular family car, from its new external look to an all new lightweight platform making its already fuel efficient engines even more frugal, this VW Golf will be setting new standards for its competitors to try to catch up to.

The new Alfa Romeo Giulietta, which makes its debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show, is said to be the big challenger for the hot hatch title currently held by the VW Golf.
The all new Giulietta should score a few points for looks off the Golf which has now been around in its present guise for too many years; mind you it’s fought off many a competitor in that time, but The Car Hub team think this contest is going to be a very close one.
