Chevrolet have announced they will be importing their new 2011 Corvette models to the UK ready for sales to commence in May next year.
No sterling prices are confirmed as yet but USA prices range from $49000 for the base coupe model to $112000 for the top of the range ZR1.
Performance figures for the base coupe model are stated to be 0-60mph in 4.2 secs from an engine output of 430bhp backed up by an average mpg of 26, which is very acceptable for such a motor.
