It is now becoming much more the case that the choice of car you purchase does not just rest with the car’s size, the basic instruments, the cup holders or seat covers etc, but what engine you have in your car.
We’re not talking here about a choice simply between petrol and diesel engines but what type of petrol or diesel engine, confusing?

Today BMW announced their latest sixth generation 5 series which will not leave the faithful BMW fraternity disappointed.
It’s a new muscular looking car, dare we say it, “a-man’s-car”. The headlights are similar to the new 7 series while the tail light units remind you of the earlier BMW5 fourth series.

No Electric Car Fleet For London Olympics

Has the Eelectric Car movement missed their biggest chance of having a world audience to view their wares?
News today, 18th. November, is that the Olympic committee will not be opting for a fleet of up to 4,000 cars powered by electric batteries, the reason being given is there was never a commitment to do so by them.
But what of car manufacturers, did not one of all the car makers have their eyes on the Olympic games as the perfect venue to advertise to the world?

BMW shows its Vision at Frankfurt

BMW's latest concept car, The Vision EfficientDynamics, will be seen in the metal for the first time at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The complaint that the motor manufacturers show dramatic concept cars and then disappoint with watered-down production models is probably as old as the industry itself but here the gap between BMW's low-slung slinky Vision EfficientDynamics and its recent production cars such as the lumpy X6 and Gran Turismo, is especially marked.

BMW’s New Eco Concept Car

BMW has just revealed more details of it’s new eco sports concept car which looks likely to be one of the highlights of the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany next month.

The new eco car is similar in size to the 3 series but with a lower roofline and incorporates a lightweight body construction, new aerodynamics and hybrid drive technology.
