The annual Garstang autojumble is taking place again with on-site camping and stalls laden with car parts and goodies.
Wed, 12/09/2009 - 13:04 — TheCarHubTeamWelcome to the Johnston Trophy, a navigational rally with special tests and classes for historic and classic cars and a separate section for modern road rally cars.The Johnston 2010 car events will be based at Purdy Lodge just off the A1 at Adderstone. The route will consist of 12 Special Tests and a 20 mile Navigation section all on Map 75 within a 10 mile radius of the start.
These car events are for Class 1 Veteran and Edwardian cars, Class 2 Touring Cars, Class 3 Standard Sports Cars, Class 4 Modified Sports Cars, Class 5 Cyclecars and others.
This top car event in part celebrates British driver David Coulthard who has already confirmed his attendance during both weekend days. To celebrate his career following his recently-announced retirement, we will display cars and karts from the DC Museum including the Red Bull Racing RB2 F1 car. Also confirmed is the fellow Scot Allan McNish who this year celebrated a magnificent win in the Le Mans 24 Hours race.

This classic event will commence with the Concentration Run Tour on the 22nd starting from Glasgow, similar to the 60th anniversary tour in 2009, which attracted a bumper entry.
