Toyota Lead The Way With “Swappage”

Next month, February, the UK government’s scrappage scheme for cars will come to an end, the pot of money to fund this scheme will then be empty.
Japanese car maker Toyota seem to have stolen a march on all their rivals by announcing their own follow-up “swappage” scheme to tempt punters to opt for either their Yaris, Auris or Avensis models.

The Mazda Miracles – WhatCar Cars Of The Year

This week the prestigious car magazine WhatCar announced it’s annual awards and car company Mazda have driven away from the competition by winning two of the major prizes.
The Mazda6 model has won the Family Car Of The Year with its 2.2D 5 door hatchback and also the award for Estate Car Of The Year with a variance of the same model.

Ford Outsells All Others In 2009

Ford UK have just announced that during 2009 they sold more cars in the UK than any other manufacturer, making it the 33rd. year in succession.
Not only do Ford rule the roost in car sales they also have the best selling van, the Transit, which has been out selling everything for the last 45 years
