Ford Need More Car Engines Built

The Ford engine factory at Bridgend in S. Wales is working flat out at peak capacity to supply Ford with their new 1.6litre Ecoboost unit.
This new engine is the power unit to drive the next generation of the new Ford Focus range and their super-mini Fiesta model.
Such is the popularity and adaptability of this engine unit that it is also used to power the Ford Mondeo saloon and estate, the new C-Max, the S-Max and also the larger Galaxy MPV.

The established car selling trade is in a very worried state with the news that retail giant Tesco is gearing up to sell used cars online.
The rumour machine, which apparently is fed by a source very close to Tesco, has it that they will concentrate on used cars of between 1 to 4 years old.
It is thought that Tesco will copy the formula at present in use by car supermarket Autoquake.com.

The Farce That Is Formula One

In the last quarter of an F1 season no F1 team has any idea how many races remain.
This farcical situation has arisen because the Korean GP, due to take place 14 days after the Japanese GP on this Sunday the 10th., has not yet had the necessary approval from the F1A.
Robert Kubica the Renault driver has raised concern that even if the race is confirmed the newly laid tarmac has never been raced on and nobody can forecast how the surface will react.

McLaren Pit To Blame For “No Points” Hamilton

For the second consecutive GP Lewis Hamilton failed to finish and earned no points in the championship race table.
For most of the first half of the race Hamilton had been following Vettel in second position who was behind Alonso who had led from the first corner. The Singapore track has only 1 or 2 possible overtaking places which makes for a boring spectacle.
